1: I am always looking for brushes for “insubstantial” effects, like smoke/lighting effects - things that are hard to mask out of a photo, when doing composits.

2: I find a lot of my brushes on either Obsidian Dawn (http://www.brushes.obsidiandawn.com/brushes.htm) or Deviant Art (http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/applications/psbrushes/)

I look for mostly swirls of many types, and grunge brushes……obsidiandawn.com is my first, you might say, but now I find many at deviantart.com as well, until I found you that is!

I have recently lost my full time job due to a painful work related injury. I have had no option but to try and find other ways of trying to pass my time.
I have always been interested in web graphic desiging. I have only been using Photoshop for just a couple of months and find I am getting addicted to it.
I only found this website by chance after looking for a tutorial, which let me to the talk-mania website. I have also only recently realised that you can get tools like brushes and custome shapes on the internet, and have only just found deviantart.
The brushes I would like to see in a photo-shop-brush.com package are vector type brushes for use on web layout designs, smoke and lighting brushes, such as light rays, and clouds of smoke, oh and also rain brushes. It would also be good to have more human figure brushes not just silhouette brushes of dancing girls etc.
To be totally honest as I am so new to all this, any collection of brushes would be great especially if they are of the awesome quality that are already here on this website.
Good luck to everyone and take care.

    1. I would love to see a wide range of various styles. I love vector brushes because they are so versatile and allow for a lot of modification. I also, however would like to see some quality splash/splatter brushes. These add a good bit of personality to LP’s (Large Projects) and can sometimes be cut or modified to give small yet beautiful details to projects. Also, almost in the same category as vector is abstract brushes such as fractals.

    2. Some of my favorite brushes come from deviantart. My all time favorite is Kao5’s Splatter brushes.

Brush is a tool used to decrease the work of a designer and increase their creativity as well. so how about brushes that define true and prominant objects such as animal vectors, nature (ocean ripples, water on a surface due to rain, drizzle fly throughout the air), floral vectors, web design brushes to define vector layouts like resort vector brush, night music brush….. defining their size too.

brush that can be used in other software such as flash to design directly in that workspace.
